Electric Locomotive FS E 645 II Series
Electric Locomotive E 645-080 of the FS (2a series).
The locomotives of the group E 645 had the same principal characteristics of the E 646. The Bo + Bo + Bo wheel arrangement and the bodywork structure, articulated in two parts with the jointed section converging and supported by the middle bogie.
The prototype selected for this reproduction was built in 1965 by the Ansaldo Mechanical construction Company. The model in brown livery, typical of the FS in that period, silver trimming, and FS 52 pantographs;
It has automatic inversion of the lights, and by means of a switch, it could either be powered from the wheels or by overhead pickup.
