Steam locomotive class 0-3-0 Gr. 200

 
The locotenders of the  Gr. 200 F.S type, were built between the years 1861 and 1882 in Alsace, thus the typical French characteristics, and also in the workshops of Pietrarsa.  As the production was spread over a long timeframe of the 56 units built due to the time and the diversified constructive criteria through the years each loco was practically a prototype, and all with their noticeable differences, certainly not a mass produced series as one would have today. They were poly functional and used for both cargo and passenger service. The model, with a 0-3-0 wheel alignment, portrays the prototype FS 2049.
