Electric Locomotive Class CC 7100 SNCF

This electric locomotive, born in the '50s from studies of the SNCF, was one of the most popular and versatile locomotives of the French Railways. Several locos  were also built for foreign railways.
In March 1955 one such locomotive (CC 7107)  together with another type (BB 9004) set the world speed record on rails achieving 331 km/h. A copy of the plaque commemorating this achievement is included in the model package box.
